Navneet Rajan Wasan is a former Indian Police Service Officer decorated with the President’s Police Medal & the Indian Police Medal. Has worked in the domain of investigations for over twenty-two years with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) & the National Investigation Agency (NIA). After his superannuation, he has been rendering legal advice on various subjects.

An expert in Investigation and collection of intelligence in the field of Economic crimes including Bank & Insurance frauds, Money laundering & violation of Compliances. The major cases handled by him were Harshad Mehta Bank Scam, Indian Bank Scam, several cyber offences and financial frauds.

Has also supervised investigation of terrorist related cases including terrorist financing. Expert on matters of Internal Security, Counter Terrorism and securing industrial installations from threats.Worked closely with peers across the globe, driving international cooperation in investigations and collection of evidence under MLAT’s & other multilateral agreements. Has been involved in drafting Laws and policies relating to prevention & investigation of crime. He has written extensively on matters of Internal Security.

A globally recognized expert, Mr. Wasan has spoken at major Indian and International events. He was the Key Note Speaker at the Interpol meet of member nations on “International Cooperation on Tackling Cyber Crime” held at the Interpol HQ Lyon and at the first Interpol Cyber Security Conference held by Interpol at Hong Kong.

Mr. Wasan is a Post Graduate in International Relations and MPhil from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from MDI and LLB from University of Delhi.

He has rich experience in driving transformational programs requiring multiple stake holders to be brought on to the same platform and mobilizing executive sponsorship and support for various initiatives, both from the Government and Industry. Among the areas of his work are Make in India, Defence offset, Telecom policy, Electronic policy, India standards… etc.

A recognised management expert on “India entry strategy”, he brings hands on experience in Sales, Distribution, Services and Manufacturing. He also brings a deep technology understanding of defence & aerospace from his experience in the field of Avionics, System integration, and as a Project leader of the joint program for Design and integration of Flight Test rigs with HAL and SAGEM France.

Mr. Ramamurthy is a BE from the College of Engineering Guindy and a Masters from the Madras Institute of Technology in the field of Applied Electronics and Communication. He holds a PG Diploma in Computational Methods and Numerical Analysis and is an Alumni of the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.

His labs have designed India’s largest selling Thin Clients, developed the technology framework for Financial Inclusion, NFC technology based POS units and the indigenously developed Network Management system currently deployed at a number of critical installations Experience in setting up green field Defence Offset Manufacturing facility & Indigenization of critical subsystems for the Indian defence forces.
